Digital Learning

Afin de répondre au plus près aux attentes et aux besoins des apprenants, le Groupe ISAE a mis en place 4 projets autour du digital learning.

A Platform Dedicated to Micro-Content Courses in Aerospace

Developed as part of the ISAE group, the Microlearning platform provides access to Aerospace Digital Nuggets (ADN): short, targeted modules created by the group’s engineering schools, specifically geared towards aerospace topics. Each ADN offers a learning experience lasting less than 30 minutes, optimised for fast, mobile consultation. Users can access it at any time, from any device connected to the Internet.
The platform includes a powerful search engine to help you find the nuggets you want. The DNAs also include educational interactions to encourage engagement and reinforce knowledge acquisition.
Designed to adapt to different uses, the platform is used in a variety of contexts: self-training, project support, informal learning, or as a complement to courses. It supports a high degree of flexibility in terms of integration into other courses.

IREAL

Designed with STEM education in mind, IREAL stands for "Interactive Remote Experimentation for Active Learning." It is an ongoing project aiming to facilitate the implementation of scientific lab experiments in a higher educational context.

  • Provides open education lab access
  • Require initial digitalization phase
  • Records various media and measurements
  • Each experiment is accessed through a tailored interface
  • Any number of students can access it at the same time

AI Strategy: Towards an Education for the Future

The ISAE Group is firmly committed to a strategy of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into its engineering schools. As part of this initiative, an introductory seminar on the theme of artificial intelligence took place in spring 2025 at ENAC in Toulouse, bringing together staff from the ISAE Group’s schools. This event provided an opportunity to explore the applications of AI in education, to identify its challenges as well as its opportunities, and to reflect on its integration into teaching. The interactive programme included lectures, practical workshops and expert testimonials, fostering enriching discussions and constructive feedback.
Furthermore, the ISAE Group has adopted a framework document summarising the principles for the use of artificial intelligence tools. Further strategic initiatives are in the pipeline to build on this work.
By emphasising the importance of AI in the development of technical and analytical skills, the ISAE Group is positioning itself as a key player in preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century.

3DEXPERIENCE: a Bridge between Academia and Industry

3Dexperience

In 2023, at the Paris Air Show, the ISAE Group and Dassault Systems signed a strategic academic partnership aimed at rolling out a 3DEXPERIENCE platform— shared across all the Group’s institutions— for 7,000 students and staff of the ISAE Group. This initiative enables the integration of a broad portfolio of industrial tools into teaching, with over 400 applications available on the platform, equipping students with skills aligned with market needs. The platform is deployed across several training programmes, ranging from computer-aided design to the integration of new disciplines such as eco-design and systems engineering, thereby fostering multidisciplinary projects.
The ISAE Group’s 3DEXPERIENCE platform forms part of the strategy to roll out the Competency-Based Approach (CBA) across the Group’s institutions, enabling lecturers to immerse their students in complex and authentic industrial scenarios.
This synergy allows courses to be adapted to current requirements and anticipates the transformation of professions in a context of digitalisation and ecological transition. By using solutions such as 3DEXPERIENCE, the ISAE Group prepares its students to meet the technological and environmental challenges of tomorrow, enhancing their employability and their ability to collaborate effectively in complex environments.
